Exactly, Dunkel! I mean. Who needs a job? We're all in recession. You can get along without that. People would even like you more for it. But HAIR! Hair is really difficult to find in this current economic climate, and should be treasured if possessed.

Cheer up. At least you can console yourself that you are no longer so shallow and vain that your outward appearance is of such paramount importance.

The fact that tomorrow I"m paying someone $1000 to slice open my gums pull my wisdom out and stitch me back up.

STITCHES IN MY FUCKING MOUTH!! Un-awesome

It's not so much the stitches that bothered me, more the needles with anesthetic that are stuck everywhere in my mouth. I don't mind needles so much in general, but those weren't nice.

Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow.

I'll have mine pulled next week. Much cheaper though.

Makes me think it sucks when somebody notices wisdom in me only to remove it. It's not I have surplus of it.

I had four teeth taken out awhile ago - I got sedated though, because there was no way I was going to be awake to watch a guy yank out my teeth. I would run. It was a rather strange experience - Waking up from it, it's supposed to be like if you're heavily drunk, and me never being drunk before panicked a little, but it was all cool. I was just trying to hug everyone, and couldn't understand why no one would want to hug a bloodied up me. :P

I got my wisdom teeth removed in hospital too, an overnight stay, so yes, I remember the gums full of stitches afterwards. Also one wound got infected, which was gross, and required antibiotics.

I had a wisdom tooth taken out a month ago, I was actually listening to Ki while the dentist was wacking away at my teeth, Terminal is strangely soothing. Lucky me had a tooth that refused to let go.... that day I learned that dentists keep a hammer at hand.

Funny thing is... I miss the tooth....

ohh.. well... what I meant to say is that everything went well and there was no blood nor pain. When I said hammer I meant flowers and afterwards everyone was happy and smiling. There were also rainbows and unicorns....

There, a non horrendous dentist story for ya :p

I'm having some problems with my bass cabinets :( If you have any advice, feel free...

I'll try and keep this as short as possible:
I have two cabs, one is an SWR Workingman's series - 4x10, 400W at 4Ω. I use this one. I also have an Acme low B-2 which is 2x10, 400W at 4Ω as well, which I only use occasionally because there's just some secret sauce in the SWR that I prefer although I'm sure there's not a whole lot of difference.

Quite some time ago the SWR used to buzz.... it would sound like I was using purposeful distortion, though I wasn't. So then I started using the Acme. That one buzzed after a while too, same problem. So I switched back to the SWR, which I've been using and really liking ever since. But just a couple days ago, it started it's buzziness again - I don't want to sound like I'm using distortion all the time, I almost never use it purposely anyways!
I took the head (which matches the SWR cab) into Guitar Center and tested the head with different cabs to make sure the head was fine. It was. My brother looked at both cabs and concluded that the tweeters on both cabs were busted. I don't know why or how - but they aren't functioning. The drivers are fine though. He also took the grills off to make sure there weren't loose screws or anything.

The only good part about this, is that neither cab is completely broken, they still play - but they just sound kind of assy, mostly the Acme. And my Bongo sounds assy through both cabs; and I know the Bongo isn't the problem. I thought that maybe I'd sell or trade one of them on craigslist. I'd like to keep the SWR, as it sounds juicy and maybe it'll get fixed someday. And as a replacement, I've found a couple suitable Gallien-Krueger cabinets online that are affordable, and are the right specifications.

I dunno... this turned out to be a longer rant than I wanted, but if anyone has any thoughts or opinions, they are welcome. :|

Picture for reference and because it looks cool:

Without reading any of that post besides "I'm having some problems with my bass cabinets" I can already tell you the problem is the monkey head
