That's terrible. My condolences to you in what is a totally messed up situation. I cant begin to guess the circumstances surrounding it. I've been in a similar situation before, although the girl did not succeed.

My un-awesome is fairly mild by comparison to all the above. I was out for a walk with my camera to take some, hopefully, nice piccies when a car came zooming past at high speed right through a very large puddle and drenched both me and the camera. I was not amused.

These last posts have been loaded down with sheer un-awesomeness. I am sorry to everyone!

I got a job, which is nice. But it means I have to move away from Leechy. He can visit, but he works in Cork a few days a week, and I'll be in Kerry all the time. Also I feel guilty that I'm not available 24/7 for my family. Which I shouldn't, because I've been there for eight years ceaselessly and it's about time I was granted some form of escape. I'll be managing a nice B&B. I've been doing really well so far. If anyone wants to come on holidays to Ireland, this place is gorgeous! It's only 25 quid or so and it's right beside the most beautifully scenic area imaginable.

That is really sad. I hope you're alright. I suppose it's better to think of the life he lived than his death, at this stage. I never knew two of my grandparents, one died when I was little and the other is still alive (but pretty sick), but all of them had really interesting, long lives. My nana is a great grandmother! I can only hope we'll be able to say the same when it's time for us to go.

Thanks, I guess I'm still in a bit of shock, my sister was really close to him but I've not told her yet because I don't want her driving home from work on the motorway upset. My mum and dad are flying out to Spain either tonight or tomorrow morning to bury him and sort his assets. My nan died about 4 years ago so it was only a matter of time for him.
