Several people reported that even on transit before the game started people were talking about how they were determined to riot. Even Facebook groups were set up before the game that promoted riots in the vein of '94
The riot itself was hardly even because of hockey. I bet if we won, people would still be doing the same things they did that night except "We won! Wooo!!! Riot!!!! Party!!!"
