I examine trade mark applications for a federal government department. Basically I debate the registrability of new trade marks with attorneys, solicitors and private applicants.

Been in the job for about 6 months and starting to get something of a handle on it now.

Prior to this job I was in a more law-enforcementish department (not the police force) so it's taken some time to wrap my head around a new set of legislation and a new way of thinking.

I love the relative stability and good conditions of the public service, especially with a baby on the way, so I will probably stay in the employ of the Government for a long time.

I look after some boring servers in BigAssTelecomCompany.

I think my servers are somehow less boring now. Also there's a lot more of them.

I'm a banker. Specifically I work in risk ensuring our risk systems continue to calculate the appropriate amount of capital we need to hold so we don't suffer the fate of so many banks did through the GFC.

I'm a full-time nursing student. If all goes well I'll be a nurse in january 2012.
This summer I'm gonna work at the ER, wich is pretty scary since I've only worked at the stroke unit before and while there could be a lot of stress there there was rarely any emergencies. So I hope I'll be able to stand the extra emotional stress that comes with dealing with victims of domestic violence and rape. And children dying, and children losing their parents.
