But of course I was.

But Alucard2, I can't say I know much about excommunication. But if your hurting, we're your friends here.

Yeah exactly, I think alucard0848 made much more of an impression here than AlucardXIX. He's been showering us with threads about all of the problems in life he's been through. And he's memorable for his lack of proper spelling too, to be honest.

About the excommunication business, I have to say I'm not familiar with it. From what I get, it's a way of formally leaving church, right (the institution, not just the building :P)? If that is the case, I would say, Why bother?

The fact that you're thinking about excommunication says to me that you don't believe in it all anymore, and that being part of the church has no value for you at all. Then why put effort in not being part of it?
Personally I've been through all the catholic church rituals because my parents made me, but I really don't care for it myself. I don't want to have to go through more of that crap for something that has absolutely no value to me.

But I'm just lazy, too :P

That's an Irish site just recently set up to help people get out of the Roman Catholic Church. I assume the process is similar worldwide, so maybe have a look through that for some info on how to go about it.

He posts a thread and you never see him again for months. Biert, I'm beginning to think you have very low standards.

Just....don't go to church? I did the whole churchy bollocks when I was younger (both my parents are atheist, but you had to be Catholic to go to the "nicer" school in the area), it made me miserable, stopped going, decided science made more sense, never been happier as a person. Didn't need a ritual or anything daft like that...
