Lo all. I've just had a phrase pop into my head, and I can't decide if it sounds more like a song or a band name. And then, is it too "Generic Death Metal Band who plays in Mother's basement" sounding? I can't tell, so you lot help me out, eh!

"The Chaos that Comes."

Just so there's no confusion, I guess? Or I just wanted to see it big. xD

Okay! Opinions! Go go go!

sounds like a run of the mill power metal/prog band to be honest. nothing that stimulates to be honest coz ive heard it all before. my advice is to work on the acctual music rather than song names and band names. wanna get noticed. use someting thats as far away from the standards of the genre as possible such as "Phases Love Brigade" and i assure you youll get noticed with the name and will stay noticed if you have the songs to back up the attention.

Haha, kind of like "Queens of the Stone Age" or "Eagles of Death Metal"!

You know, I thought of ...Wait for Something Wild when I saw this thread :D The SikTh lads were (and still in effect are) totally bonkers. I can't decide whether Mikee selling me his soul for a cigarette or witnessing the band getting the entire Snickers tent at DL'06 to chant "PINT OF PISS" was the best SikTh related thing to ever happen.

[/massive SikTh fan]

But like sj said, think about the name after you make the music. My band for instance, we just picked 2 long words, put "of" between them, threw "The" infront of them and came out with
