I hope so, too. We'll find out if he's truly got what it takes (which he probably does) in about 2 months. He did make a lot of promises, so I definitely don't expect to see a huge explosion of change, but at least starting things off with some positive change (for a change) would still be a job well done in my book.

Seriously, though--he's at least trying to be in touch with the public, which can be good. I'm still a bit wary of the current and ever-slipping economic situation, though. No high hopes yet, but I think things could be headed in a positive direction.

In the mean time, check this out: http://www.change.gov/

There's a section (called "share your vision" or something similar) that's essentially a suggestion box. I think that's pretty cool, assuming someone actually reads it. That may be a dangerous assumption, though.
