I beg to differ. Have you seen his youtubes? While wildly chaotic, there are moments where you can see that he IS trying to do things: He's learning how to create music. He's teaching himself about cinematography, and he's also learning how to give direction and substance to ideas in his head. Nathan's not a bad kid, he just hasn't learned to focus his energies and vision yet. Like Sab said, there's no reason for picking on him for voicing his unhappiness. There'll be time enough for that when he's an adult and HAS to deal with that shit. Let the kid be a kid, for pete's sake, and maybe learn to give your advice to a more appropriate audience.

A while ago, I was really going through a serious spell of depression. It was a bad jag and I made a short post about it. Even as I wrote it I thought,'what a loser, your gonna get your ass kicked!' But I got afew thoughtful responses and everyone was cool. I wasn't looking for milk and cookies ( I've had serious manic depression for my whole adult life so I'm way past sympathy) I just wondered if anyone else here was going through the same thing.
That's one of the things I like about this 'metal' board. We, the followers of Devy Metal, are not the typical metal meat-head.
Metal is aggressive, yes.Don't put up with bullshit, yes Face your problems head on when you can. But Devy Metal is also about self understanding, relating (or not) and expressing yourself.
Keep tellin it like it is, man. I respect that so much more than some uptite bugger in denial just saying suck it up

Are you so superior that you dont have problems? I think being able to express your feelings is an important thing however you choose to do it... through music, talking or writeing it doesnt matter. The fact of the matter is he doesnt need anyone kicking him while hes down and just because he does some weird posts and has a funny avatar doesnt make you superior to him. so infuture keep your mouth shut (in this case stop typeing) and go and insult people to their faces and see what happens.

For me, it's less defending Nathan and more speaking to the things that nrich said about Nathan. I don't have an issue with nrich's opinion, I only wanted to point out some fallacies that I noted in what he was saying.
